Zoe launches Daily30+ – a complete, plant-based food

First came the Zoe app – used by millions of Britons to record symptoms and track the spread of the Covid-19 virus during the pandemic. Next came the bright yellow Zoe circular glucose monitors – which the science and nutrition company’s subscribers used to track their responses to certain foods. Membership grew and so did the Zoe offering – a podcast, a study about intermittent fasting and even a gut punch with beloved high street supermarket M&S.

And now? They have launched a new plant-based nutritional supplement – called Daily30+.

    Who is this supplement for?

Zoe’s Daily30+ supplement is aimed at individuals trying to meet their recommended fiber intake. In the UK, the current recommendation for adults is 30 g of fiber per day. However, on average, we only consume about 20g per day.

The idea is that adding a spoonful of this supplement in your meals, you will also increase your fiber intake.

“We know how impactful small daily dietary changes can be for long-term health and that just 5g of added fiber each day can reduce inflammation and the risk of heart disease, reduce the risk of metabolic diseases such as type 2 diabetes and improve mental health”, he says. Dr. Federica Amati, head nutritionist at ZOE.

“We designed this product to add to existing favorite foods, not replace them, and to encourage eating a variety of new foods. This supplement is convenient without compromising quality or taste. I have especially like using it to give savory dishes like pasta dishes as well as scrambled eggs and salads more flavor and crunch. If you’re not sure how to make great foods like beans, grains and lentils with great taste: this is the perfect companion for that.’

    Where can I try it?

The product is available as a monthly subscription from the Zoe website and in selected Waitrose stores. Monthly and four-pack 500g subscriptions are available for £39 and £133. Zoe members can access discounted member pricing when they log into their account.
